Der „Washed Ashore Sweater“ von Alexandra Tavel ist ein Häkelprojekt für Fortgeschrittene. Dieses Projekt wird in einem Stück in der Breite gehäkelt und dann gesäumt. Der Körper wird von Seite zu Seite gehäkelt, beginnend an einem Ärmel und endend am anderen, so dass die Maschen senkrecht zum Körper gearbeitet werden. Entlang der Unterseite des Kleidungsstücks werden Maschen aufgenommen, um den Saum zu bilden. Dann werden Maschen auf der anderen Seite aufgenommen, um den Halsausschnitt zu formen.
